1. Core Functions
The evaporator is the key component that
produces cold air inside the vehicle:
- Absorbs heat from cabin air and lowers air temperature rapidly
- Converts low‑pressure liquid refrigerant into low‑temperature gas
- Removes moisture from air to achieve dehumidification and defog
- Provides stable cooling performance for the entire HVAC system
- Works with blower motor to deliver consistent cold airflow

3. Installation Guide
- Recover refrigerant from the A/C system before disassembly.
- Remove the dashboard or glove box to access the evaporator box.
- Disconnect the expansion valve and refrigerant lines.
- Open the evaporator housing and remove the old evaporator core.
- Clean the housing and install the new evaporator.
- Replace O‑rings, expansion valve, and receiver drier.
- Reassemble the housing and dashboard.
- Evacuate the system, charge oil and refrigerant.
- Test cooling performance and check for leaks.
